An important chapter in this journey was his time with Helmut Sinn, who became an important mentor and influence in his professional career.

From Helmut Sinn, Thomas gained valuable knowledge about watches, technology, quality and, above all, the importance of maintaining high standards in every detail.

These experiences would shape his approach to watchmaking for years to come.

2001 – Workshop Manager

In 2001, Thomas Preik became Workshop Manager, taking on responsibility for the work carried out in the workshop and for maintaining the highest standards of precision and quality.

Working on fine mechanical watches requires more than technical knowledge. It requires patience, experience and an uncompromising attention to detail.

This period was an important milestone in his career and provided a deep understanding of what truly matters when working with high-quality mechanical timepieces.

The Next Chapter – A. Lange & Söhne

Following this period, Thomas continued his professional journey at A. Lange & Söhne.

Working in an environment shaped by traditional German watchmaking, technical excellence and exceptional craftsmanship allowed him to further expand his knowledge and experience.

The combination of traditional craftsmanship, sophisticated mechanics and uncompromising quality standards left a lasting impression.

These experiences became an important foundation for what would eventually become Custom Watch Concepts.
